In Love with the Process

SCROLL DOWN

In Love with the Process

IN LOVE WITH THE PROCESS is a new podcast and video series that goes deep into how to survive as a freelance artist. How do you stay INSPIRED & MOTIVATED? What are the TECHNIQUES that lead to your personal STYLE?  Join us and LEARN from others while building a network of life long clients and collaborators.

There is an old saying that it takes 10,000 hours of dedicated practice to become a master of anything, that it takes about 8 years before you are recognized for your work. If those statistics are right, then your main motivation has to be for something more than just the end goal. How do you make it through this long and uncertain journey?

You have to learn to fall in love with all of the little steps needed to create a film. You need to become obsessed with the countless techniques needed to shoot an amazing photo set. You need to love the life style you have chosen.

With over 16 years of experience as a filmmaker and photographer, and 9 years of running a successful production company, Mike Pecci has learned to fall in love with the process and wants to share it with you.

How Do You Stay Motivated as a Freelance Photographer or Independent Filmmaker?

Have you heard the old saying that it takes over eight years to become recognized? That is can take even longer to finally get paid for your time? If that’s the case, then how in the world are you going to pay off all those student loans? The thousands of dollars you owe a college that promised you the skills to get paid? How are you going to stay motived when it seems like no one ever calls you back or looks at your work? Why shouldn’t I just stay in bed and binge watch the entirety season of Stranger Things again?

These are the real issues that every independent artist has to face today.
